Maintaining all these features, Wilmer and EyeTel have now expanded the EyeTel Retinal Imaging System capabilities to cover age-related macular degeneration and optic disc abnormalities, such as glaucoma.  Now, the EyeTel Retinal Imaging System can be the foundation of the optometrist’s comprehensive eye exam by providing a means of screening, diagnosing and tracking the progression of identified eye disease while helping you to build the bridge from Optometry to the Family Practice Physician.

Unique to the EyeTel Retinal Imaging System is the optional interpretation and report by an expert clinical reader at the EyeTel Reading Center.  Readers are trained and under the direction of retinal specialists from the Wilmer Eye Institute.
