The exam really was easy. I went in there with dread and I left saying... that was so much easier than exams I've had in the past. The eye drops were so mild, and they wore off quickly.

I think the DigiScope is wonderful. It is a great tool to assess the risk of diabetic retinopathy in our patients with diabetes. We like having it here, on site, for their convenience.

The DigiScope provides our primary care physicians a valuable means of improving the care of their patients with diabetes. Our primary care offices that have adopted this technology... have demonstrated the ability to improve compliance and thus positively impact their diabetic retinal exam rates. This offers tremendous value to our members with diabetes.

I'd heard about it (diabetic retinopathy) but I didn't think it could be so serious at my age... I thought that it wouldn't happen to me. My advice to other patients with diabetes: Get your eyes checked and take care of yourself!

Without the DigiScope, I wonder if the disease would have been detected. I had never considered having my eyes checked before my doctor suggested... the DigiScope.
